MMNNSW is please to announce the addition of a mixed division to the state's premier men's netball competition to create M League.
The new M League competition will take place on Sunday afternoon and evenings at Anne Clark Netball Centre, Lidcombe.
But that's not all that's changing.
To encourage a tougher competition and the development of younger players, a player points system will be introduced.
Each player who has represented NSW or another state at Nationals in the past two years will carry points, and a team can never play a team worth more than 23 points at any time.
- Open and Open Mixed Men each carry 5 points.
- 23 & Under Men and Open Mixed Women each carry 4 points.
- Reserves Men each carry 3 points.
- Junior Men (19 & Under) will each offer a reduction of 3 points.
- Junior Men who turn 20 before the competition commences will not carry or reduce points.
- Players who didn't compete at 2011 Nationals, but competed in Open Men, Open Mixed, Reserves Men, or 23 & Under Men at 2010 Nationals will be worth 2 points.
This exciting competition is not to be missed. Act quick to guarantee your spot.
