Registration for representative selection for the 2022 MNNSW State Teams are now open. Teams will be competing in the AMMNA Australian Championships to be held in Adelaide from 17th April 2021 – 23rd April 2022.
All eligible athletes for both Age Divisions and Open Divisions are encouraged to register for upcoming selection trials which will be held on Sunday 14th November 2022 at Hills District Netball Courts.
MNNSW aim to select teams in the following divisions:
- Men’s Opens
- Men’s Reserves
- Mixed Open’s
- Mixed Reserves
- 23 and Under
- 20 and Under
- 17 and Under
We are also seeking, in 2022, expressions of interest from male athletes for the possible return of a 35 & Over age division at the 2022 Championships. While this may be your preferred option, the Selectors will make the final decisions on all teams to ensure MNNSW can compete successfully in all divisions. All athletes should be aware of the MNNSW Selection Policy and if interested in trialing complete the nomination form.
Trials will be conducted in phases on Sunday 14th November 2021.
- 9.00am – 11.00am – Selection for 17s, 20s and 23s. All eligible players across the 3 age groups must attend. The selectors may choose to invite any age players to then trial at Opens level.
- 12.00pm – 2.00pm – Selection for Mixed Teams.
- 3.00pm – 6.00pm – Selections for Men’s Teams
Male players should note, you are able to choose not to be selected for Mixed (ie only show up at 3pm), but all other male players will be considered for both Mens and Mixed and may be required to remain for Men’s Team Selections.
Registrations will close Tuesday 9th November at 5pm. No registrations will be accepted on the day. The trial fee of $50 is non-refundable. If you are successful in obtaining a representative position, you will be required to pay $200 upon accepting your position in the team you have been selected for.
