On Saturday October 13, MMNNSW squad members visited some of the patients at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.
Members had the opportunity to meet a young patient Matilda who is a keen netball player.
Matilda talked to the squad members about where she played, her favourite playing positions and showed a genuine love for the game.

Dave Huey has been reappointed coach of the NSW Men's Open team and will build upon strong gains in 2012 at next year's National Championships.
Huey, who will be assisted by wife Jan, headlines several reappointments made by Men's and Mixed Netball NSW.
Kelli Douglas remains coach of the Men's Reserves, while Fran Liddle and Gen Paige will resume their joint coaching role of the Mixed side.
Mark Kerr will again guide the 23 & Under team and Sue Barnett will lead the 17 & Unders.
MMNNSW has appointed committee member Dallas Horo coach of the 19 & Unders.

Trials for the NSW state squads to compete at 2013 National Championships will be held over the next two Sundays at Anne Clark Netball Centre.
Open, Reserves, 23 & Under and Mixed trials commence at 9.30am this Sunday August 5 with a second trial to follow on August 12 from 9am.
The 2012 MMNNSW Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on August 5 at Anne Clark Netball Centre.
Scheduled to commence at 12.30pm, the meeting will be held before M-League.
Executive positions up for re-election include Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. All non-executive committee members are also up for re-election.
MMNNSW will also be seeking to fill a vacancy on the committee.
The state's premier men's and mixed netball competition is back. M-League 2012 will commence on June 17 at Anne Clark Netball Centre, Lidcombe.
The player points system introduced last year to even the competition will be refined in 2012 to improve diversity and calibre of all teams.
A team can have players totalling no more than 21 points on court at any one time, a two-point reduction from last season.
Players under 19 will attract a one-point deduction and players under 17 attract a two-point deduction off team totals.

The prize money is being offered between winners of open, social and junior competitions.
The event, to be held at Cintra Park, Canada Bay, follows on from the last highly successful Gala Day in November last year.
The action will start at 9am with winners to be decided by 5pm.
Registrations close on June 15 so start organising your team now.
Thirteen players and one official representing New South Wales were awarded with Australian team selection at the 2012 National Championships at the Gold Coast over Easter.
Australian teams were chosen for every division and announced at the official presentation last Saturday night.
The open, mixed, 23 & under and 19 & under teams will tour New Zealand for a test series in October.

New South Wales player Mitchell McBurnie has won the 19 and under Best and Fairest award at the 2012 National Championships at the Gold Coast.
The MMNNSW Trivia Night is back in 2012 and promises to be a great night with plenty of chances to win.
It will again be held at Petersham RSL on Saturday March 10 from 7pm.
Prizes up for grabs include dinners, movie vouchers, gift packs, wine, gift vouchers and more to be announced.
