Registration for representative selection for the 2023 MNNSW State Teams are now open. Teams will be competing in the AMMNA Australian Championships to be held in Perth from 9th April – 15th April 2023.
Trial Application will cost $50 (non refundable) – see link below. Applications will close 48 hours prior to both selection dates.
MNNSW aim to select teams in the following divisions:
- Men’s Opens
- Men’s Reserves
- Mixed Open’s
- 23 and Under
- 20 and Under
- 17 and Under
This year our selection process has been reviewed to ensure we can optimise the time of all athletes. The first selection date is Sunday September 25th 2022 – to be held at Hills Netball Association from 1pm. This will be for all MALE athletes who wish to be selected for the Mens Opens, Open A’s and Mixed Open teams. A squad of 35-40 male athletes will be selected that will go on to train together for the next 4-6 weeks.
Following the squad training, the Mens Opens and Open A teams will be selected. The remaining male athletes will then trial on Sunday 30th October 2023 at 8.30am with all female athletes for selection of the NSW Open Mixed Team.
Age Team Trials – 23s, 20s and 17s will also take place on Sunday 30th October 2023 at 10.30am following the Mixed Selection.
The approximate cost of the tour will be $2,500 – $3,000 and MNNSW will be booking all tour costs including flights. All players will also need to purchase or be provided with core uniform pieces which includes:
- Jacket and Track Pants
- Travel Polo
- Training Singlet
- Playing Uniform (Shirts, Shorts, Dresses)
- Bag
Registrations will close for the first selection on Friday September 23rd 2022 at 5pm. No registrations will be accepted on the day. If you are successful in obtaining a representative position, you will be required to pay $200 upon accepting your position in the team.
If you are unavailable to attend selections, and still wish to be considered, you will still need to register and then contact the MNNSW Secretary at the below email address to advise your non-attendance.
